<Well, where to start. I've been using Photoshop for nearly 6 years now, starting near the end of my 6th grade in Middle School, during an after school activities session in the computer lab. I don't know what it was but I was really grabbed by that very primitive version of Elements (That was when it was new apparently). But don't be deceived, my history with Photoshop may have began that long ago, but I sure as hell don't have anything to show for it (read: I suck).

Anyways, I eventually got into wallpaper creation, and personally, working with such a big canvas is much better than trying to cram ideas into a tiny claustrophobic signature space or worse, avatar. I'm pretty sure if I actually had skills with live drawing, I'd probably be working with murals.

Anyways, I started off at animewallpapers.com (because when you searched anime wallpapers on any search engine, the first result would obviously be the aforementioned), four years ago I believe and I've been there ever since. Admittedly however, I haven't been exactly the most ACTIVE member (I mean, over four years I only have 3 wallpapers to show, and one of them I'm extremely embarrassed to even have available to the public).

I love making wallpapers, I honestly do, but I think the reason why I never make any is because I always lack the inspiration to make one. When I first started out in Photoshop, I'd usually look at a stock image, and just get excited as this image forms in my mind and I just had to make it. However, today, low-quality TV screenshots don't excite me anymore, and minitokyo pisses me off to no end, so here I am, at animepaper, a dedicated wallpaper website, with a strong community (don't get me wrong, the AG net has a strong community also, but the wallpapers section moves as fast as a dead rat).

Well, short version is: I hope to submit (relatively) many wallpapers and improve myself as not only a wallpaper artist, but as a digital artist in general.<
